Vista boot fix cd
If you do not have or can not borrow a Microsoft DVD there is a download of a Vista Startup Repair ISO file available which you can make into a Bootable disk to do the above Startup Repair and that method is recommended by a lot of posters in these Forums. You can tap F8 at Boot and hopefully get into Safe Mode with Networking where you can download and update the removal programs and scan with them. If you never received a Recovery Disk when you purchased your Computer there should be a Recovery Partition on the Hard Drive to reinstall Windows back to how you bought your Computer.
The Recovery process can be started by pressing a particular Key or Keys combination at Boot. And if you do have a Manufacturer's Recovery Partition on your Hard Drive, you should be able to make your own Recovery Disks from it to reinstall the Operating System, if it isecoved to factory settings by the method above. If you can not find any reference to it, contact the Manufacturer for advice on how to make those Recovery Disks.
And you need to know the "bit" version for Vista, as 32bit and 64bit Editions come on different DVDs. And once the Operating System is installed, go to your Computer Manufacturer's website and obtain the latest Drivers for your particular Model Computer or Laptop.

It will not boot half the time and wants to go to startup repair. I created system repair disc 6 discs total few years ago. How can i restore my Vista to a new hard drive using these system repair discs? Can somebody please give me a step by step procedure from BOOT? Sounds great. But during the create disc process it asks for my install disk…which I thought was the point of this article: not having an install disk.
My pc on window 8 instal but now it is automatic repair mode i have not window 8 diskplz tell me how can repair it. I was able to follow the instructions and install recdisc on a bit Vista computer using the Manual option. You can load with safe mode and try to repair it. What if there is no reminding message or the safe mode is also a dead end? At this time, a little computer maintenance skill is very useful. To fix this "Windows Vista won't boot up" problem, you need to get a reliable Vista boot disk.
