To help them build the ship, they created an "anti-gravitational magnetic beam" to handle the large metal pieces they couldn't lift on their own.

Suddenly, the tractor beam went haywire, causing the machine's parts to go every which way while trapping Ferb inside a magnetized ball of energy!

To fix the machine and save Ferb, help Phineas collect all the floating metal pieces. Just watch out for any airborne hazards that may float by!

There are 12 levels, and a number of gears have to be collected in a set amount of time to complete each of them. To do so, the player has to boost Phineas up with the up key, and shift the ship from one side to the other by moving Ferb with the mouse or with the left and right keys, depending on the activated control mode.
